Using a continuous cycle of quenching, hammering, tempering, and clamping, this handmade steel blade develops incredible hardness and durability. The handle forms around the blade and is riveted in place to create a cutting tool that exudes strength and stability.

Blade: The butcher-style blade endures a formidable hand-forging manufacturing process that uses a continuous cycle of quenching, hammering, tempering, and clamping. The steel is exposed to temperatures between 1500 and 1600 degrees Fahrenheit during the quenching process and 350 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit during the tempering process to create a high carbon steel that lasts much longer than your average knife.

Handle:  The full tang blade is surrounded on both sides with an ebony wood handle that is riveted in place to create a knife that balances the comfort and grip of the wood with the strength and durability of the steel.
